Rachel Gautreau became a Registered Nurse in 1989. She was President of the Student Nurses Association and has been a member of the New Brunswick Nurses Association since.
Immediately after graduation, she started working full time as a nurse at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital. In 1990, she transferred to the emergency department. In 1992, Rachel started working for a cosmetic surgeon in his private practice. This is where her career took a turn into the wonderful world of medical aesthetics. While working closely with a cosmetic surgeon for six years, Rachel discovered she had a natural talent in the field of medical aesthetics.
As her passion grew, she undertook many courses and attended numerous educational conferences and seminars. In 1998, she joined the Dermatology Clinic at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital as a part-time nurse and opened Bellissima Medical Aesthetics. Her services quickly became very popular through word of mouth. Her 12 years of experience working directly with a cosmetic surgeon & dermatologists have given her a wealth of knowledge.
In 2004, she became the Territory Manager & Trainer for Medicis Aesthetics. This position permitted her to work alongside the most experienced physicians in the industry across Canada & the USA. Her job was to bring all her knowledge acquired and teach physicians, surgeons and nurses on about advanced techniques in the use of the injectable filler Restylane.
By 2005, her talent, professionalism and excellent services had earned her an outstanding reputation, and she now works full-time at Bellissima Medical Aesthetics. This industry is forever evolving; new & exciting treatments and products are being discovered. Rachel believes that one should never stop learning and continues to perfect her art by keeping herself and the Bellissima Medical Aesthetics team on the cutting-edge of the industry.

Dr Julie Whalen is a mother of two, New-Brunswick born and raised family physician practicing in Moncton since 1995.
Dr Whalen graduated with Dean’s List Honours with a Health Science Diploma from l’Université de Moncton in 1989. Thereafter, she attended l’Université de Sherbrooke where she completed a Doctorate of Medicine in 1993, and a Family Medicine Residency in 1995. From there, she quickly established a thriving medical practice in Moncton with various responsibilities including: emergency department duties from 1995-2000, ongoing private office practice, in-hospital care, after-hours clinic and clinical oncology, all through her affiliation with the Georges L. Dumont Hospital.
In 2005, Dr Whalen extended her professional training toward the fascinating field of Medical Aesthetics. She undertook training in Botox, Fillers and Laser treatments. She and the entire Bellissima Medical Aesthetics team continue to update their medical aesthetics education, in order to offer their patients the most recent et innovative techniques, allowing patients to enhance their youthful beauty without requiring surgical procedures.

Huberte LeBlanc became part of the Bellissima Medical Aesthetics team as Office Manager in 2008. Her 23 years of experience in various aspects of the aesthetics field, combined with her enthusiasm for aesthetics, made Huberte the ideal candidate for this position.
She started her career after receiving her Aesthetics and Electrolysis Diploma in 1985. She worked as an aesthetician in PEI for over 6 years. Passionate about education, she attended as many courses as possible to learn new and different techniques as well as numerous product lines.
After returning home to NB, she continued working as an aesthetician. Her talent for teaching clients how to take care of their appearance lead her to a career as an aesthetics instructor. She attended Instructor Development Workshops with the NBACC. During that time, she was the Atlantic representative of the National Aesthetics Technical Committee for Skills Canada from 2001 to 2004, was a Board Member for the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick and, subsequently, Vice-President from 1998 to 2002.
Huberte has been influential in raising the standards in the aesthetics industry through her many committee involvements. After over eight years of teaching every aspect of the curriculum and with her wealth of knowledge she became Director of Medes college. To further her education, she attended numerous trainings on Leadership, Management & HR, to name a few. She learned Bookkeeping before joining the team at Bellissima. Huberte is a Licensed Aesthetician/Aesthetics Instructor with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick.
Sophie Caissie started her career in aesthetics after she obtained her Aesthetics & Electrolysis Diploma in 1996. She worked in an aesthetics salon until 1998, when she became an entrepreneur by opening her own salon. During that time she became a part-time aesthetics instructor and took numerous training courses. Life circumstances led her to new experiences in a spa in Ontario, where she had the chance to experience different aesthetics and body treatments and take courses at the Spa Technology Training Institute.
After returning home in 2007, Sophie became a full-time aesthetics instructor at Medes college.
She attended Instructor Development Workshops with the NBACC. In 2010, she joined the Bellissima Medical Aesthetics team as a Laser Technician/Aesthetician, after receiving Advanced Laser Training. Her in-depth knowledge of products and services ensure all clients receive exceptional treatments, which are always tailored to their needs. Sophie is a Licensed Aesthetician/Aesthetics Instructor with the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick.
Josée Gautreau obtained her Aesthetics, Electrolysis and gel nail diploma in 2013 and is a member of the Cosmetology Association of New-Brunswick. She joined the Bellissima Medical Aesthetics team immediately after graduation. Josee furthered her education with a certification in microneedling, E-dermstamp, peels, microdermabrasion and as a microbladding eyebrow artist.
The fine art of designing eyebrows came very naturally to Josee, as she has always been very artistic by nature. In her free time Josee enjoys painting, drawing, hiking, going to the gym and any outdoor activities, especially horseback ridding.
Member of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) since 2013, Amy LeBlanc obtained her degree in Nursing from the University of Moncton. Prior to joining the Bellisima team, in summer 2016, she previously worked in the Surgical services department of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, where she gained valuable experience.
