Rachel Gautreau, RN

Rachel Gautreau became a Registered Nurse in 1989.  She was President of the Student Nurses Association and has been a member of the New Brunswick Nurses Association since.

Immediately after graduation, she started working full time as a nurse at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital.  In 1990 she transferred to the emergency department. In 1992, Rachel started working for a cosmetic surgeon in his private practice.  This is where her career took a turn into the wonderful world of medical aesthetics.  While working closely with a cosmetic surgeon for 6 years, Rachel discovered she had a natural talent in the field of medical aesthetics.

As her passion grew, she undertook many courses and attended numerous educational conferences and seminars.  In 1999 she joined the Dermatology Clinic at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital as a part-time nurse and opened Bellissima Medical Aesthetics.  Her services quickly became very popular through word of mouth.  Her 12 years experience working directly with a cosmetic surgeon & dermatologists have given her a wealth of knowledge.

In 2004 she became the Territory Manager & Trainor for Medicis Aesthetics.  This position permitted her to work along side the most experienced physicians in the industry across Canada & the USA.  Her job was to bring all her knowledge acquired and teach physicians and surgeons on advanced techniques in the use of the injectable filler Restylane.

By 2005, her talent, professionalism and excellent services had earned her a reputation and she now works full-time at Bellissima Medical Aesthetics.  This industry is forever evolving; new & exciting treatments and products are being discovered.  Rachel believes that one should never stop learning and continues to perfect her art by keeping herself on the cutting edge of the industry.
